学者介绍

倪湛舸，北京大学英语语言与文学系学士，美国福德姆大学神学系硕士，芝加哥大学神学院宗教与文学博士。现为弗吉尼亚理工大学宗教与文化系教授，曾任哈佛神学院“宗教中的女性研究”项目研究员(2010-2011)，法国南特高等研究院研究员（2021-2022）。研究领域为世界文学、类型小说（科幻、奇幻与玄幻）、宗教构建与世俗主义、二十一世纪批评理论，近年来从事宗教、流行文化与数字资本主义研究，出版专著The Pagen Writes Back: When World Religion Meets World Literature (UVA Press, 2015), Religion and the Arts in The Hunger Games (Brill, 2020), Cultivation Fantasy: When Chinese Religion Meets Digital Capitalism (forthcoming)，在The Journal of Religion, The Journal of the American Academy of Religion, The Journal of Popular Culture, Comparative Literature Studies, Literature & Theology, Religion and Literature, Christianity and Literature, Zygon: Journal of Religion and Science, Modern Chinese Literature and Culture, Chinese Literature and Thought Today等期刊发表中英文学术文章数十篇。
