学者介绍
Michael A. Szonyi，宋怡明，哈佛大学东亚语言文明系中国历史学教授，费正清研究中心前主任。早年于加拿大多伦多大学获学士学位，后在英国牛津大学获得东方学系博士学位，入选罗德学者（Rhodes Scholars）。宋怡明擅长利用历史人类学和田野调查方法研究中国东南地区的社会史，致力于研究明朝军户的历史。著有《实践中的宗族：明清福州的宗族研究》（Practicing Kinship: Lineage and Descent in Late Imperial China, 2002）《冷战岛：处于前线的金门》（Cold War Island: Quemoy on the Front Line, 2008）《被统治的艺术》（The Art of Being Governed: Everyday Politics in Late Imperial China, 2017）。
